Apple has filed a lawsuit against New York teen Fei Lam, Fei ordered the parts from Foxconn the current parts supplier to Apple. He then proceeded to sell the conversion kits via his website WhiteiPhone4Now.com which has since been taken offline following legal action from Apple. As Lam is only 17 years old, Apple is holding his parents responsible for allowing their son to commit what Apple are describing as infringed upon patents and violated its trademark, using deceptive practices in the creation and sale of the product.
