A Salford University student has escaped prison after releasing malware that allowed him to gain access to PC’s and email accounts of over 100 people. Paul McLouglin, 22 from Liverpool tricked people into downloading software that stole their passwords, Istealer described as code-generation key for online games. McLoughlin pleaded guilty & received an eight months sentence – suspended for 12 months.
